Akhil Agrawal - Board of Directors

Mr. Agrawal is a member of the Board of Directors and has more than 25 years of commercial banking and business experience. Since 1993, Mr. Agrawal has been President of American Medical Depot (our U.S. Master Distributor), growing his company into a multi-million commercial enterprise with three distribution centers, and being recognized as preferred medical supply vendor to the U.S. Military and various other U.S. Government Agencies. He is also a Principal in AMD Equities, a middle market healthcare investment fund which is one of our current shareholders. Prior to these roles, Mr. Agrawal held various senior management positions with Barnett Banks (n/k/a Bank of America through merger), which included Credit Review Officer, Credit Quality Administrative Officer, and Manager of Planning and Special Projects. He had direct responsibility over a $30 billion commercial loan portfolio. Mr. Agrawal has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Health Care Industry Distributors Association, President of the National Minority Medical Supplies Association, President of the Board of Directors of the National Healthcare Alliance, Member of the Governor's State of Florida's Healthcare Policy Team, has been co-leader of the Department of Health Transition Team, and was a Founding Board Member and Chairman of the Education and Research Committee of the Healthcare Supplier Diversity Alliance. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the U.S. Small Business Administration National Advisory Council, the State of Florida Council for Efficient Government, and the Board of Directors of Indian-American Republican Council. Mr. Agrawal earned his Business Administration Degree at the University of Florida and was a Florida Economic Scholar, and member of the National Honor Society.
